Akira sighed heavily as he walked threw the nearly empty city of tokyo. "I really miss the days of this place beeing so full of life" he mummbled tohimself as he walekd towards the RAY distrect to see if any one still lived there, on the way he spotted an old Ramen shop he smirked walking inside and lookign around. Upon finding several tight sealed food packets and such he grabbed them and quickly left the building before continueing down the empty street he winced as he saw a a number of blood stains on the sttreet from when the game Igura was still up and running. "I'm so glad that stupid game is over" he mummbled as he looked at the blood stains and randomly thrown wepons that laid in his path. he crumpled to the ground when his scar started to burn sending a shock of pain threw him "FRICK!!!" he yelled as he knelt on the blood stained ground "stop...already" he growled as he lifted his shirt to splash some water from his water bottle on the scar, it sizzled slightly on contact but soon it cooled down alowing him to stand again. "why would it act up here?" he asked himself as he finally set eyes on his old neiborhood.

Rikka walked slowly through the empty streets, looking at all of the abandoned buildings. "It's hard to believe this is the thriving city that my father grew up in. This place is just so...quiet." Rikka walked in the direction of the RAY district, as Rikka's father grew up on the other side of this district from where she was. She remembered because he remembered his father taking some strange orders from many people from the RAY district. He would tell her all about it so many times that nearly every story was ingrained in her head as if she had actually been there. After walking in the RAY district for awhile, she noticed blood stains scattered about the ground. "I wonder what happened here." Rikka turned a corner to see a man facing away from her. As quickly as she could she ducked back around the corner. "I thought this city was utterly abandoned."

Akira heard a scuffle behind him but ignored it as he store at the old orphanage with hatred "this is the place that ruined my life" he spoke softly to himself as his fists clenched digging small holes into his palms from the tightnes. "but it seems it got what it deserves now" he said smirking if only lightly at the crumbling building at was once his home before he opened his hand and looked at them with a grunt "and yet......I don't want this place to crumble....just incase Shiki and Kau are still alive..." he mummbled to himself spinning around fully when he heard a sharp intake of breath "who's there!!" he growled as he pulled his dagger from it's holster on the side of his leg.

Rikka jumped a bit he said this. She had heard the sharp intake of breath as well, but it wasn't from her. "I am, but that breath wasn't me." Rikka said slowly gliding out from around the corner. Seeing the dagger she sighed. The air was too dry here to pull out enough moisture to be of great use to her if Akira, or this other presence, attacked her. "I can't really say anything about this other presence, but I don't mean any harm."

Akira looked at her and nodded "but...who are you" he asked slowly his eye brows raising as he took in the girls appearance "you don't look like your from here" he said as he slowly put away his dagger and started to circle her.

"I'm Rikka Jinsoku..." She watched Akira carefully as he circled around her. "...and I'm not from here. My father grew up near this district and I was heading towards where he grew up. I was interested to see where he grew up, or at least what's left of it." Rikka continued to look at the bloodstains closer, taking guesses at what the strange orders that her Grandfather took from the RAY district were, or at least the majority of them anyway. "So who are you then?"

Akira stopped and looked at her with narrowed eyes before nodding and looking down the ruined street "My name is Akira Toriumi.....I am one of the children who was raised here" he said slowly as he stopped before her and crossed his arms lightly behind his back "welcome to the disctrict....or whats left of it I geuss........" he said softly as he leaned back onto what was once a wall of a house.

"More like welcome to what's left of this city." So far, the only noticeable difference between the RAY district, and the rest of Tokyo she had seen, was the blood stained streets only seemed to be in this district, or at least more prominent in this district. 'I wonder, was this cities' downfall caused by the Tainted? Is this what's going to happen to New York City, and the rest of the major cities? I guess only time will tell.' She thought to herself.

Akira nodded and looked aroudn again "this place used to be busy...untill they started to build more factories" he said slowly as he bent down to pick up a bloodied dog tag "and then...that stupid game started" he said in a low growl as he lifted his shirt slightly to look at the large scar on his stomach.

"What stupid game?" Rikka tilted her head slightly to one side in confusion. Rikka looked down at the blood stains. "Does this game have anything to do with all of these blood stains?"

Akira nodded and sighed looking to the sky "Igura.....was all about killing people just for these things..." he sAid holding up a dog tag that held whan looked like an ingraved jack card on it "who ever got the royal strait flush first was announced as the king of the game...My friend one......but I haven't seen him since" he said slolwy as he stuck the dog tag in his pocket and returned his gaze to Rikka.

"That explains the bloodstained ground, as well as several other things. Sounds like such a barbaric game...and I thought the movie Battle Royal was violent...well it is but still." Rikka sighed deeply. "This certainly isn't what I had hoped to find when I came to Japan." She said mournfully.

"I wouldn't know." Rikka sighed lightly. "According to my father it started awhile ago, but I wouldn't honestly." Rikka sat on a nearby chunk of fallen building.

Akira nodded and sighed again "I wouldn't either...but yet...I still do..." he said smoothly as she glared at the blood stained ground.
